Each year between 150 and 300 people die on thestreet, homeless, Their deathsgo unoticed. These people were invisible during their lives.

We as a society can no longer allow them to be invisible in their deaths.

The Continuum of Care (CoC) board is receiving HUD Technical Assistance (HUD TA) for CoC governance, structure, policies, and clarification on roles/responsibilities.  The CoC Board and HUD TA would like to invite you to the CoC September meeting for a review of the recommended changes and strategies proposed by HUD TA.  The meeting will be held virtually September 18^th from 10am to 12pm via Zoom. There will be a time during the meeting to ask questions. There is no preregistration required and this meeting is open to the public.

• Responding to Homelessness - 6pm-7pm -  Session serves as an introduction to unsheltered homelessness, current and promising public investments, other responses in Tacoma/Pierce County, and actions you can take.
• Reflection in Action - 7pm-8pm - Session participants and ongoing volunteers are invited to join us for guided reflection on the challenges and joys of this work.
